SMS Messaging Policy & Opt-In
This page documents how end users consent to receive SMS messages from Pulvo, operated by JIE & P LLC. It is published as a public, verifiable reference for our SMS programs and 10DLC campaign registration. Pulvo operates two separate SMS programs: Program A — Account Notifications(service alerts to Pulvo’s own business account holders) and Program B — Review Invitations(one-time review requests Pulvo sends to a business’s own customers). Each is described below.
Program A — Account Notifications (to Pulvo account holders)
Because opt-in occurs inside a password-protected dashboard, this section reproduces the exact opt-in steps and consent language a Pulvo account holder sees.
1. Program summary
- Sender / brand: Pulvo (JIE & P LLC).
- Program type: Account Notifications — transactional service alerts, not marketing.
- Who receives messages:only Pulvo’s own registered, logged-in account holders (business owners), about activity on their own account.
- What we send: critical review alerts, alert-rule notifications, average-rating-drop and no-new-reviews alerts, Google Business Profile disconnect alerts, and the 6-digit phone verification code. Billing/trial reminders are sent by email only, never SMS.
- Message frequency: typically fewer than 10 messages per month.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. Pulvo does not charge for SMS.
2. How end users opt in (step by step)
Opt-in is collected inside the authenticated Pulvo web application at Settings → Notifications, in three explicit steps. Phone numbers are entered by the user only; they are never purchased or sourced from third parties. Consent is not a condition of purchasing or using Pulvo.
The account holder types in their own U.S. mobile number, then taps “Send code.”
Pulvo sends a 6-digit one-time code by SMS. The user enters it to prove they control the number.
The user ticks an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox, then clicks “Enable SMS alerts.”
3. Consent disclosure (verbatim)
The exact text the user agrees to at step 3 is:
I agree to receive automated SMS text messages from Pulvo about my business's critical review alerts at the number above. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
4. Opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP)
- STOP: reply
STOPto any message to opt out at any time. The user may also toggle SMS off, or remove/unverify the number, in Settings → Notifications. After a STOP, the carrier blocks further messages until the user repliesSTART. - HELP: reply
HELPfor assistance. The automated reply is: “Pulvo: For help, email support@pulvo.ai. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.” You can also email support@pulvo.ai any time.

6. Privacy & terms
Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS are never sold, and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes; see our Privacy Policy (Section 6A) and Terms of Service (Section 5A).
Program B — Review Invitations (sent on behalf of businesses)
Pulvo (JIE & P LLC) is the registered sender and operator of this program. Pulvo sends a one-time review-invitation text to the customers of the local businesses that use Pulvo. Every message names the specific business for transparency (e.g., “…thanks for visiting Joe’s Diner”), but Pulvo is the brand of record and messages are sent from Pulvo’s registered 10DLC number.
B.1 How the consumer consents
- Consent is collected by the business directly from its own customer, in person at the point of sale or service: the customer provides their mobile number and is told they may receive a one-time text inviting them to review the business.
- Before any number can be messaged, the business must affirmatively attest inside the Pulvo web appthat it obtained the customer’s prior express consent. No numbers are purchased or sourced from third parties.
- Responsibility for consumer consent is allocated to the business in our Terms of Service (Section 5).
Businesses are instructed to give customers a clear disclosure when collecting the number, such as:
“May we text you a one-time invitation to review [Business Name]? Message & data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out. Consent is not required to purchase.”
B.2 Frequency, rates, opt-out
- Frequency: one-time per customer (a single review invitation; not recurring).
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. Pulvo does not charge the recipient.
- STOP / HELP: reply
STOPto opt out (added to a permanent do-not-contact list); replyHELPor email support@pulvo.ai for help.
